Your chance to win - Guess the Podium (Part 2)

Let's have ANOTHER a guess at the F1 podium for.
Based on an idea by OverTake member Pete Conway.

At the end of the half mark of the season we will award the overall winner one year of Premium membership here on OverTake

Here are the rules:

Podium Prediction for Track Name

1: Driver Name 1st Place
2: Driver Name 2nd Place
3: Driver Name 3rd Place

Points system:

10 points awarded for guessing the right position and the correct name
5 points for guessing the right name, but the wrong position.

What should be the deadline for making the guess? Some people seem to do it early, like before FP3 (from last year), some even wait the end of qualifying. In theory someone could capitalize waiting until the start of the Grand Prix, hoping an unexpected grid penalty. I know it isn't a serious stuff, just a game, but if we have a clear rule it would feel more fair.
PS: Sorry, I might over overexplained it here

Thanks for the input. Last season the cutoff was shortly before the race start, so after Q was allowed. But you bring up a good point, we'll review that for the next races

I understand, I assumed along the lines of the old horse racing betting system... before lights out,
However in that system it was sometimes at better odds early on which we can't do here without increasing the quota of points on offer for different cut off sessions... oh my! very complex yes.

You have to wait until the next race as the Astralian one is over, and where it says Track Name enter the track that is featuring the race, the Chinese Grand Prix is the next one.

bear in mine that it's probably better to wait until nearer the time before making a prediction... just incase of penalties/illness etc.

This weekend will have Sprint, we can guess the two of them, or just the Sunday race?
