This year we will again shadow the F1 2025 schedule (https://www.formula1.com/en/racing/2025) with our own events. Our races will be held on Thursdays prior to the actual F1 event.
We use our beloved Radical SR3 XXR which has quite a few similar characteristics to an F1 car, so you can feel a bit what the F1 drivers experience. And it's fun to get to know the track from a driver's perspective before watching the race.
The features of the Radical are:
- noticable downforce effect
- noticable slipstream effect
- noticable fuel weight effect
- noticable tyre wear and tyre temperatures effects on grip
- two tyre compounds which will be mandatory to use both in the race.
After you sign up, you do not have to sign up for every race, as long as there are still spots available (24). I will free up spots by removing drivers who are no longer participating once this limit is reached.
Series characteristics are:
- standard P60, Q20, R60 minutes schedule for the event
- practice server available week before
- 1 mandatory tyre change of compound
- grip level starts at 95-99, improving to 100 during the race.
- no pit window
- ABS and TC enabled
- standard cut and collision penalties
- Local time is used (For example Singapore will be a night race).
- Track temperatures will be an estimation of the actual temperature based on average data.
- Damage 10%, Tyre wear and Fuel usage 100%
The first race is on March 13th. There will be a separate thread for every event as usual.
