For while i dreamed to have my own Hypercar or LMP1 in AC, but never was able to have this opportunity. In march/april this year i decided to try myself in modeling and since then i had a lot of fun. This project was started in may, without much knowledge up to this point i kinda startet this blindfolded, watched a lot of tutorials and yeah thats what came out in the end, or its more a V2. The first version, the cockpit was way to small so i decided to trash 80% of the car and start again. I think it turned out quite good, not perfect but i'm happy with it.
The car is heavyly inspired by the legendary CLR. The front was also inspired by the AMG GT3 with headlights looking like they came frome the Project one. As we decided that the car was "co-developed" by Ligier, it may also has some simularities to the Lamborghini SC63. But most things came from my head and followed the rulebook as close as possible.
Of course this wasnt possible without a lot of help. I have absolutely no clue when it comes to physics, but i was lucky. My good buddy @morizottom who i worked with on some other projects before (can be found on his Discord) knows a thing or to. So he helped me and made a complete setof physics for this car.
Just to name some features he also included:
- Working Fuel LED's next to the fuel filler
- 4 ERS MODES that you can switch ingame by assignating a button to: Controls, buttons, MGU-K, Increase delivery
- New complete physics from scratch (Aero, setup, suspension, tyres, drivetrain, ERS torque .....)
- Messages on your steering wheel, when your in the pits, when your fuel level is low
- Tyre textures will change depending on the compound you choose
