Gran Turismo 7 has played host to the best players of the PlayStation exclusive title since 2022 in the GT World Series. Players line up to take part across two sets of competitions, the Manufacturers Cup representing a brand with two teammates, and the Nations Cup which is the individuals competition.

Last year after four rounds, Lexus came out on top in the Manufacturers Cup whilst Takuma Miyazono added to his lossless 2020 campaign with a second Nations Cup title. Once again, the season will consist of four live events spanning from June to December.

After the participating drivers have been decided from the online qualifiers running from April 2nd to May 10th across both competitions, the opening round will take place in London on June 7th. The top 12 Nations Cup qualifiers will be in attendance for all events whilst the Manufacturers Cup will see each qualifying brand's top player from a specific region. In the case of the London round, the Asia-Oceania region's players will be in attendance.

Round 2 will take place in Berlin on September 20th with the Manufacturers Cup drivers being from the Europe-Middle East-Africa regions, and Round 3 will be in Los Angeles on November 8th with the top Americas region players competing in the Manufacturers Cup. The World Finals will be take place in Fukuoka, Japan from December 20th-21st, with all competitors in attendance.

The qualifying rounds for both competitions can be found in the Sport Mode tab in GT7, with the ability to qualify for the live events only possible for players in the GT1 League tier - meaning those who have a driver rating A or above. Tickets for each event will go on sale in advance of the events themselves, which are also subject to potential date changes.

For those who only play the games and have no interest in watching the competitive events, there will be ways to earn prizes for briefly tuning in to the streams in-game once again.

Who would risk their lives for a USA event? Yikes. Streaming the event will make sure you don't just disappear or get deported to some random country regardless of US citizenship or anything.

Still loving the Nations Cup, though the theft of data access - denying backup of replays to USB of nation cups exhibitions is getting into class action territory.
