The January 2025 update for Gran Turismo 7 is set to release next week, with the already-confirmed V12-powered 90's style F1 car as part of four cars that will be available.
Since around the time of December's Gran Turismo World Finals in Amsterdam, GT7 players have known the identity of two cars being added in this month's content update. The F3500-A open wheeler and also the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N, the latter of which will be added to your garage for free if you tuned in to the Nations Cup broadcast briefly in-game.
Series producer Kazunori Yamauchi has posted his signature silhouette image featuring all of the upcoming cars, which means the update is only just around the corner. Typically, GT7 updates release on Thursdays so expect it to arrive on 30 January, the last Thursday of the month.
That leaves two of those shapes a mystery for the most part, so here are what are believed to be those two cars.
The other car appears closes to the Toyota C-HR, a mini SUV which in its fastest guise is powered by a 2.0-litre Inline-4, working in tandem with an electric motor to create a combined output of 220 horsepower. As a result, it can go from 0-60mph in 7.4 seconds. Of course, with multiple versions of both cars, it is possible that the versions that end up in GT7 when added in the update will be completely different.
Stay tuned for coverage of the GT7 January update when it is predicted to release on 30 January.

Old Hatchback & Compact Crossover
The Gran Turismo series sure do love their everyday road cars, and this update will do nothing to dispel such a stereotype. One may be a third generation Honda Civic that was in production from 1984 to 1987, the most powerful version being the CRX Si, which produced 160 horsepower. It may be a safe assumption to claim that this is the version we will be getting in GT7.The other car appears closes to the Toyota C-HR, a mini SUV which in its fastest guise is powered by a 2.0-litre Inline-4, working in tandem with an electric motor to create a combined output of 220 horsepower.
