The 2025 iRacing Daytona 24 Special Event may have seen the checkered flag quite a while ago now, but Markus Søholm made it all come back with an outstanding recap video.

Team-based endurance events in sim racing are popular for a reason. Trying to get through 6, 12 or even 24 hours with your friends or teammates is always a challenging, but usually fun endeavour, and every endurance race has its own story.
So did the 2025 iRacing Daytona 24 Special Event across all of its splits, including the one at the very top. There, Markus Søholm competed with his Apex Racing Team, battling the best esports teams and drivers.
Excellent Production & Narration
Many of our community members have expressed that they are not interested in sim racing esports, so they may be thinking Markus' recap is not going to be for them, either. That may well be the case, but we urge you to give his video a chance regardless - you may well get drawn in by its excellent production and narration. The 23-minute race recap was published a good one-and-a-half months after the actual event, but watching the video, it becomes clear why. This is not your standard race recap - it is a mini documentary about a challenging 24 hours at arguably one of the toughest events in sim racing, complete with masterful editing and narration by Markus Himself.
If the Apex driver seems familiar to you, that might be because he is creating videos for OverTake as well, such as his sim racing braking guide to help you get the most out of your braking. The Dane is properly quick - which his Daytona recap also shows, but we won't spoil his #99 Ferrari 499P's finishing position here. That's for you to find out at the end of his video.
