The latest iRacing update is here: 2025's Season 2 has arrived, and you know what that means - our resident rapid iRacer Emily takes a closer look at the new build.
It may not have been as packed with exciting content as the previous build, but iRacing Season 2 2025 still comes with a number of interesting elements on board. As always, the spotlight is on the content, the main stars this time around being the new ARCA Menard Series stock cars and Portland International Raceway.
In addition to that, one of the most popular classes on the service sees the first of two major changes: The GTP Hypercars' tire model is revised in the latest iRacing build, combating the sometimes excessive grip the cars had available, which became obvious shortly after Season 1 2025 launched. More work is expected to make the hybrid systems of the cars act like their real counterparts in future releases.
While adaptive AI has not quite made the release, a reworked user interface in the official series section, 3D curbs at several tracks and quite a lot more did.
