All the cars and liveries for the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship are on-track, here are our favourites that we want to see in Le Mans Ultimate.
As the official game for the FIA World Endurance Championship, it is not beyond the realms of possibility that new cars and liveries running at this weekend's Prologue testing event ahead of next week's Qatar 1812km find their way into Le Mans Ultimate.
There is no confirmation as yet that the racing simulator will receive a similar content update to its 2024 Season Expansion. However, we thought it would be a fun experiment to go through the car, team and livery changes following the first official sessions of the 2025 season.
Currently not present in LMU, the Aston Martin Valkyrie would surely take a lot longer to include in the simulator than a simple livery design. So whilst the prospect of a road car-derived Hypercar taking to the Le Mans Ultimate roster is mouth wateringly exciting, let's focus on the plethora of overhauled 2025 liveries that may well find themselves in the official WEC game before too long.

Previously a customer team running the gorgeous fan-favourite gold Porsche 963s, the team now steps up as the factory Cadillac team. But do not fear as the gold Hertz colours stick around making for a spectacular addition to the WEC grid. Such an outstanding and eye-catching design, running races in Le Mans Ultimate against Chip Ganassi Cadillacs will certainly feel strange. So the sooner we get gold Caddies in LMU, the better.

The French manufacturer last year ran a rather simplistic blue colour scheme with a blocky French flag on the tail. But for this year, that French flag grows to a more prominent position on the car. Meanwhile, the car's shade of blue darkens for a not unremarkable result.
In its second season with the BMW M Hybrid V8, Belgian squad WRT is seemingly gaining a sense of national pride with its 2025 livery dropping the German manufacturer's corporate red white and blue on one of the cars in favour of red white and yellow. Be it with blue or yellow dashes, the new BMW Hypercar livery gets a very blocky approach that reminds us of a certain survival building game.
As for the Ferrari 499P in the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship, the yellow stripes launched on the original 2023 design have, much like last year, been altered. As ever, it is a particularly good looking car - though we do prefer last year's look for one simple reason.
In fact, bar the odd total overhaul, last year's liveries are all better looking as for the 2025 season, the FIA WEC has introduced new LED panels showing trackside spectators a car's position. As a result, the number panels also required by WEC Scrutineering have been moved to new locations on each car meaning liveries have had to be tweaked.

As a result, even the more unaltered designs like those of the Toyota and Peugeot will need quite a bit of work before matching the 2025 cars in Le Mans Ultimate. This also begs the question, should LMU get 2025 content, will players be able to adjust the look of these new LED screens as teams can in real life?
That being said, there is one new car model joining the roster in 2025 in the shape of the Mercedes-AMG GT3. Two cars run by Iron Lynx will bare the three-pointed star completing what could well be a two-car DLC pack for Le Mans Ultimate in 2025. Though once again, we re-affirm that this is mere speculation at this point.
Bringing an updated M4 GT3 Evo to the WEC ranks, the pair of LMGT3 WRT entries may well take slightly longer to introduce than your usual livery update. But with the #32 getting The Bend sponsorship previously seen on the #92 Porsche, we would be excited to see this new GT3 car join the sim.
If white is not your thing, maybe the pink Porsche of Iron Dames will tickle your fancy - yes, they switch from the Lambo after a torrid season. Alongside the all-female squad is an all-blue 911 GT3 R in 1ST PHORM colours, the #92 run by Manthey.

Joining the Mustang and Porsche in the next major update to LMU is the Aston Martin Vantage in Evo form. Whilst the Heart of Racing #27 design remains very much unchanged for 2025, the second Aston of Japanese team D'Station is now run by Spirit of Leman, getting a new livery not too dissimilar to the Valkyrie's chequered pattern.
Moving back to cars already available in LMU, the McLaren and Ferrari full-season entries get very few livery updates. However, the Corvette drops a lot of its previous black paint instead opting for a more traditional Corvette Racing yellow.
Better yet though is the return of Ben Keating to the FIA World Endurance Championship which, should LMU add 2025 content, may well be the American's first feature in the game given the #33 LMGTE Corvette's running as Nicky Catsburg in Le Mans Ultimate.
However, with more content and greater improvement on the horizon throughout the title's development, it is surely a safe bet to expect the game to follow its series focus for a few more years to come.
Last year, the first 2024-centric content was the BMW M Hybrid V8 that launched just before the real world Le Mans 24 Hours. With that in mind and liveries taking far less time to replicate than full car models, we would probably expect a similar release time for up-to-date liveries if they do indeed come.
That being said, a final 2024 content drop featuring Qatar circuit and the final two LMGT3 cars (Lexus and Lamborghini) will release in May, so the developers may want to focus on those pieces of content before looking forward a year.

New Hypercar Content for LMU?
No doubt the biggest headline going into the new WEC season is the introduction of the screaming, V12-powered Aston Martin Valkyrie. Making its competitive debut next weekend, this Prologue test is the first time we get to see the car out on-track in its official colours.Currently not present in LMU, the Aston Martin Valkyrie would surely take a lot longer to include in the simulator than a simple livery design. So whilst the prospect of a road car-derived Hypercar taking to the Le Mans Ultimate roster is mouth wateringly exciting, let's focus on the plethora of overhauled 2025 liveries that may well find themselves in the official WEC game before too long.
Cadillac Team JOTA Livery Going for Gold
In previous years, the other soul rumbling Hypercar that is the Cadillac and its V8 boom ran in a rather dreary livery fading from blue to black. However, for the 2025 season, Chip Ganassi is out and in its place running the factory team is JOTA.Could the gold Cadillac join Le Mans Ultimate ranks? Image credit: Cadillac Europe Pressroom

Refreshed 2025 Hypercar Liveries
The move from corporate Chip Ganassi colours to glorified gold for the Cadillac pairing is without question the most drastic livery overhaul for the 2025 season. However, three other manufacturers in the form of Ferrari, BMW and Alpine are brining touch-ups to their cars for the new year.Alpine A424 gets a livery overhaul in 2025. Image credit: Alpine Media

Mercedes LMGT3 in Le Mans Ultimate
It is not just the Hypercar class with chopped and changed colour schemes for the 2025 FIA WEC season. The GT class will also present numerous content opportunities for Le Mans Ultimate, though unlike the 2024 season, fans should be able to expect a quicker turn around than a full year to build each GT3 car from scratch. That being said, there is one new car model joining the roster in 2025 in the shape of the Mercedes-AMG GT3. Two cars run by Iron Lynx will bare the three-pointed star completing what could well be a two-car DLC pack for Le Mans Ultimate in 2025. All 2025 LMGT3 Liveries
Elsewhere in the LMGT3 class, there are plenty of new liveries for - we hope - Motorsport Games to get its teeth into, none less so than the new pair of Mustang designs. Bound for LMU inclusion just before the Qatar 1812km, the Ford Mustang will get three liveries in total but a pair of rather spectacular 2025 designs would not be something to grumble at with their galloping 'Stang painted in either white (#77) or blue (#88).If white is not your thing, maybe the pink Porsche of Iron Dames will tickle your fancy - yes, they switch from the Lambo after a torrid season. When to Expect 2025 Content in Le Mans Ultimate?
As we keep reiterating in this article, there is no official word pointing towards the introduction of 2025 cars, teams or liveries in Le Mans Ultimate. However, with more content and greater improvement on the horizon throughout the title's development, it is surely a safe bet to expect the game to follow its series focus for a few more years to come.
