Happy first birthday to Le Mans Ultimate, the official FIA World Endurance Championship game launched one year ago today on 20 February 2024. To celebrate the milestone, Studio-397 has announced further content coming to the game with the next major update set for 25 February.
From new cars to new circuit layouts and numerous fixes as ever with this Early Access title, here is everything you need to know about the next Le Mans Ultimate update on 25 February.
The first car sure to be popular for its unique handling characteristics and tuneful flat-six engine is the Porsche 911 GT3 R. Run last year by the Manthey crew to a driver's title, players will get access to this model in two liveries, the #91 and #92.
Sitting alongside the Porsche in this fourth pack will be the Aston Martin Vantage in Evo specification making it one of the car's first representations in sim racing. The Vantage also saw just two cars fielded in 2024 with the Heart of Racing car managing a top step result at COTA.

In addition to the new LMGT3 additions, the class is also set to receive a major tyre model update as part of the next LMU update. According to Motorsport Games CEO, the overhaul will provide a more realistic feeling and greater rear grip enabling players to push the tyre more. The changes come from feedback following the class' initial release last December from both the community and real world drivers.
Elsewhere, much like other games, the relative will better indicate lapped and lapping cars with blue and red colour codes. Meanwhile, a lap counter estimate should help judge pitstop strategy on the fly.
On that note, offline sessions can now have the number of tyres further limited for greater realism and bringing the Race Weekend mode in-line with online sessions. Tyre warmer options for both online and offline events also now join the game just in case cold tyres are not for you.
