With more info on Project Motor Racing available, we now also know a few of the cars and car classes that will be in the sim this fall. Here's what's confirmed so far.

Some in the sim racing community had feared that Project Motor Racing would become "yet another GT3 simulator". If those fears had not been put to rest once early 2000s GT cars started dominating the teaser content Straight4 Studios and GIANTS Software put out, then the reveal trailer and brand-new info following its April 29 reveal should take care of this.

While GT3 will be included, it is one of 10 classes that will feature in Project Motor Racing, going all the way back to the 1970s and late 1960s. Six classes have been confirmed on the game's website already, the seventh is known thanks to the GTE DLC that players receive when preordering.

Regarding tracks, the list is much shorter - we only know of the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, Mosport and Lime Rock park with certainty.

That said, here are the confirmed cars and classes, plus a few possibilities that might join their lineups.

Did you not post a picture of a TVR 400R just a few days ago? is that not a confirmed or a candidate for the NGT, or has Les Edgar stamped on that (besides only making one solatary car since taking over a decade ago)

Is Ian Bell behind this ? Beautiful screenshots. If the devs only decides to, they could make epic sim, but I don't think they will, it is not profitable, simulating is not chased AT ALL anymore. And it is fine, people deserves to buy what they ask for. Just a little sad to me, but whatever. The screenshots are BEAUTIFUL !

But maybe Ian Bell can make the turn tables ? Naaaah..... but maybe ?

Just add that late IMSA GTO (and I'm not an American) to all this and we're talking. If it's good and if it's going to be there, I can see many mid life and older sim racers going mad over this!

Plenty of cause to be skeptical, but the man still has some reputation left to burn in my book because GTR 2 was that damn good. Very interested as more information com-(Viper GTS-R)...take my money.

Decent content plan, but even if the cars drive well, Ian Bell has yet to produce a single-player experience that exceeded GTR2. PCARS 1 & 2 AI were crap with only AC being worse. Multiplayer also needs to be proven.

still better than anything from Kunos :p

And anything that's powered by the ISI motor engine, no ISI motor engine title after GTR2 has any form of single player mode. :sneaky:

Madness engine is heavly modified ISI motor and it's really noticeable in pC2 and AMS2. Physics aren't 1:1 but I felt that rF1, 2, R3E, GTR series vibe.

Indeed. Must've gotten lost in the shuffle, busy track today 😄 It's there now!
