RaceRoom continues to unveil new content to start off 2025. Next up: A duel circuit inspired by the Race of Champions.

RaceRoom continues to announce content - and this time, it means uncharted territory for the sim again: After already confirming in October 2024 that drift content would come to RaceRoom, developer KW Studios now lifted the veil on another addition that introduces a new way of racing to the sim. Dubbed 'Twin Forest', a 1v1 duel circuit inspired by the Race of Champions tracks is set to make its way into the game.
Such head-to-head circuits usually see competitors start on parallel straights at the same time. As the track loops back on itself, the one-lap races are over once each competitor has done a full lap, meaning they are back where they started. Super Special Stages in rallying work the same way, although they can also include loose surfaces and jumps.
With cars such as the KTM X-Bow RR Cup in its lineup, it should be possible to recreate some of that Race of Champions atmosphere within RaceRoom, or at least the style of racing. This being sim racing should mean that it will also be possible to chuck around a Group C or F1 car if you so desire, of course - whether or not that will actually be reasonable remains to be seen. But we sure imagine it to be quite intense at the very least.
When the content will be released has not been stated yet, but the February Fun Fest hashtag used in the social media post and announcement image could hint at a launch to happen within the remaining days of the month.

RaceRoom Head-to-head Track
While inspired by the RoC tracks that are usually laid out inside stadiums, the RaceRoom 1v1 circuit appears not to be within the confines of an arena. Instead, sim racers can tackle this head-to-head challenge on a less tight circuit, at least from what we can tell based on the single screenshot KW Studios have shared. With cars such as the KTM X-Bow RR Cup in its lineup, it should be possible to recreate some of that Race of Champions atmosphere within RaceRoom, or at least the style of racing.
