[AMS2] F1 1969 Season 1.23

The 1969 Formula One season was the 23st season of its history.

It featured the 20th World Championship of Drivers and the 12th International Cup for F1 Manufacturers, which commenced on 1 March 1969 and ended on 19 October after eleven races. The season also included four non-championship races. British driver Jackie Stewart won the first of his titles with Matra-Ford.



This mod-package contains car liveries, ingame Reiza-style previews and driver helmets for the Formula Vintage Gen 2 Model 1, Formula Vintage Gen 2 Model 2, the Brabham BT26 and the Lotus 49C.

Included is also an custom AI Drivers file with driver names. AI driver skills have been adjusted and finetuned to match the 1969 season.



The XML Selector allows you to customize the mod in a very simple way : go to your Automobilista 2 folder and run the "F1_Season_1969_XML_Selector.bat" file. Select a scenario by typing the option of your choice and hit enter.

The mod gives you following scenario options to choose from :

1. Round 01 - Kyalami (select 19 opponents to get De Klerk on the grid)
2. Round 06 - Silverstone (select 19 opponents to get Bell on the grid)
3. Round 09 - Nordschleiffe (select 22 opponents to get F2 drivers : Attwood, Mitter, Pescarolo and Cevert on the grid)
4. Round 10 - Watkins Glen (select 20 opponents to get Lovely and Eaton on the grid)
5. Full grid with 25 opponents, mixing F1 and F2
6. Grid limited with 18 opponents, only includes regular F1 runners
