The Lamborghini Revuelto Esports Series is here: Two qualifiers in Asphalt Legends Unite see eight racers advance to the Finals at Dreamhack Dallas - with even more on the line for the top three finishers.

Held in Asphalt Legends Unite, the Lamborghini Revuelto Esports series is looking for the fastest players across all platforms - and it has exciting prizes on offer. The top 8 of the competition will win an all-expenses paid trip to Dreamhack Dallas from May 23 to 25, where they will determine the overall champion.

Two qualifier rounds for the Lamborghini Revuelto Esports Series take place between March 27 and April 14, with round 1 ending on April 2, 23:59 UTC. For those who could not get a lap time in the time-trial based qualifier in, round 2 will open on April 8 at 08:00 UTC - this could be your way into the Finals to be held at Dreamhack Dallas on May 25.

Should you manage to finish as one of the top three out of eight finalists in Texas, you will also be invited to the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Finals at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, to witness the Super Trofeo up close.

Lamborghini Revuelto Esports Series - Rules

To be eligible, participants must:
  • Be at least 16 years old at the time of registration. Participants under 18 need parental consent.
  • Own a mobile device, tablet, or cell phone with internet access and one of the following operating systems: Android, iOS, PlayStation, PC/Xbox, or Nintendo.
  • Download the game "Asphalt Legends Unite" during the competition period from the Google Play App Store, Apple App Store, Microsoft App Store, or Microsoft Store Xbox.
  • Register an account on https://esports.lamborghini/mobile-activity/ by providing accurate personal information.
  • Possess the necessary legal documents to enter the United States of America.

You can sign up on the official Lamborgini Revuelto Esports Series competition website.

Asphalt Legends Unite does not officially support racing wheels, but the hectic and collision-heavy nature of the racing makes it better suited to controllers anyway. The game heavily leans towards the arcade side of racing, of course, so being quick will require different driving techniques than you would usually use in your sim rig.

The game has been out since 2018, initially as Asphalt 9 Legends, until it was renamed to Asphalt Legends Unite in July of 2024 following an expansion update. It is renowned for being one of the best-looking mobile games, and has won both the Apple Design Award and the "Sports Game" Webby Award in 2019.

You lot need to know your audience, the cross over between sim racing and trash like asphalt credit card legends is incredibly small
There are also people coming from outside the site searching this up, you would be surprised

RaceDepartment was a community for serious and at times stodgy sim racing purists... but this is Overtake now, and Overtake is a more general racing game news outlet. Since Overtake absorbed RD's forums and userbase, there is a dissonance where articles like this seem out of place, but are in fact still racing game related (same can be said about Tokyo Extreme Racer, which isn't sim by most metrics but is a highly promising early access title).

I will quip though that I don't think a trip to Dallas is a particularly desirable prize in this political climate. That aside, is such a prize also another example of an e-sports series investing too much into attracting players and not enough into attracting viewers? Maybe not in this case, as attracting players may be Asphalt's whole point; the low barrier of entry will bring in new and returning players and then they'll try to sell paid content to those players...

This right here. Way to begin the alienation process of some of the longest standing members. This attitude is pure bs. You've claimed now that people think these articles are out of place but they arent because theres new members coming in that want this stuff, so where exactly are they? This is one of the least commented on articles ive seen in months. That says all there is to know. Theres a reason no one engages with it. I wouldnt have done but that first part of your reply really has annoyed me probably made worse by the fact you know youve said something that will be controversial so then try palm it off with a jokey 2nd paragraph. 🤷‍♂️
