F1 Manager 2024 is the last entry into the Frontier-developed games, but it lives on - not least due to the the efforts of the OverTake community. Meet the F1 Manager 2025 mod!
After three titles, Frontier Developments is not planning on any more F1 Manager games. The studio did release a big farewell update to its latest title, F1 Manager 2024, in February 2025, which included a Season Customization feature allowing players to edit drivers, staff members, the season schedule, and many other elements.
It did not take long until the sim racing community to get the game up to speed for the 2025 Formula One season: Already three days before the Melbourne season opener, OverTake community member @wiechuz has uploaded the F1 Manager 2024 2025 Season DLC mod, which is not actually DLC to the game, but the extent of the changes essentially warrant the name regardless.

Since the mod's release, it has already been updated twice to fix a few issues, and the OverTake community is raving about it. @EDIMKA states that "the mod is just so well made. I can't play F1 Manager 24 without it, it's MANDATORY" in their review, and @GreenFury is praising the mod as "excellent work! This is what I was waiting for since the end of last season... Now I can finally get back to play F1 Manager."
At the time of writing, the mod has been downloaded almost 10,000 times, with overwhelmingly positive feedback from OverTake community members. And with two McLaren victories in two races on the board in real F1 thus far, it might be time for you to step in and stop them from dominating 2025 - or extend the papaya streak, if you prefer!

The end result: Much clearer and sharper visuals that get players even closer to the racing action as if they were watching an actual F1 broadcast on their TV. Improvements to the sounds of F1 Manager 2024 also change the presentation of the game.
These two examples of mods once again brilliantly show how the sim racing community contributes to keeping games alive and even improving them. And with the real F1 season having started, it seems that more and more players are flocking to the game again - on race day for the Chinese Grand Prix, it peaked at 3,616 concurrent players, a number it had not reached since September of 2024.
