As the summer of sim racing starts to heat up, a newer player in the market, Conspit, has released the first initial artwork for its new 300 GT wheel rim, which will hit virtual stores in June this year.

Conspit told OverTake that this new 300 GT wheel is "Designed for all sim racers who want nothing but the best in quality and performance, but without the huge price tag!" The price stated was in the "€390 Range," so it would be safe to expect multiple versions of this wheel, some more expensive than others.

300 GT without the handles implies that it could be made into a formula or round wheel with other handles.

Wheel Features

As we have come to expect from Conspit, they have managed to pack a lot into a relatively small package. The wheel will feature a moulded carbon fibre front plate partnered with a lightweight aluminium alloy structure and a high-resolution 2.99" integrated display that is Simhub compatible.

The controls include 8 RGB buttons, four encoder wheels, three rotary switches, and dual Hall-sensored clutch paddles. The rear buttons are compatible across all brands of wheelbases, and QuickCon is included at no extra cost, which is a nice addition for the price point.

Conspit Reviews

I believe the sim hardware space has hit the saturation point. There is no more sh!t to be invented or improved upon. The drivers still basically suck, with expensive kit.

I mean, not discussing the driver side haha but in terms of actual hardware, I think there is still a lot of potential to be explored. Most of the gear is based on what you would do in a real car (ofc, for our immersion) but does not yet actually take care of the needs that are explicitly simracing.
