The premium sim racing brand Ascher Racing has released its new fully customisable Ultimate racing wheel - and an eye-watering price tag.
Unveiled at SimRacing Expo 2024, the Ascher Racing YOUR Ultimate gives the consumer a broad range of customizability with the ability to laser-etch logos into the faceplate and on top of the wheel with a high-precision laser finish. An industry-first, according to Ascher Racing.
This customizability is, of course, fantastic for brands, events and racing teams, but the average consumer might not see the benefits. The starting price tag of €1,699 is also rather hefty, especially compared to some of their other wheel options.
Ascher Racing's original Ultimate wheel sits at the top of its McLaren Artura range. The performance of the original Ultimate wheel and this new YOUR line is the same, except for the logo's customizability and all buttons and encoders.
This new version of the Ultimate Wheel is now available and orders can be placed through Ascher Racing's new custom wheel designer. The wheel is aimed at B2B customers rather than individual consumers, but if you love Ascher wheels and have your own racing logo plus the cash to spend, this could be a fantastic upgrade to your rig.
