After days of hints and small leaks, the big Asetek news is finally here! From a new product line that promises a budget-friendly ecosystem with console support to a new universal quick-release and new T.H.O.R.P braking technology, Asetek is covering all bases in 2025.
Asetek's new easy-to-adjust T.H.O.R.P II hydraulic braking system.
Changing the elastomer and adjusting the travel is now simpler than ever with Asetek's newly designed knobs and twist-off canister.
There is a second drilled hole available on the new Invicta pedals, visible in the image above, that, if used, will move the brake pedal forward and, even with the hardest red elastomer inserted into the pedal, will give you considerably more travel. This could be perfect for trying to hit those driving academy gold medals within Assetto Corsa EVO.

What made the process so difficult was the logistics of getting each customer's La Prima box shipped back to Asetek and then out to the customer again, so instead of going down that route, Asetek plans to release a firmware update entirely for free, that will unlock the potential of the La Prima button box to work with all of the paddle options from the Forte and Invicta range. This means you can have the top-of-the-line shifters on a La Prima base.
Upgraded La Prima wheel rim with carbon shifters
One of the paid upgrades is for the La Prima wheelbase. You will buy a power supply like Fanatec's CSL DD 5Nm bundle. Once the firmware has been installed and updated, your La Prima wheelbase will have a whopping 33% more power! This upgrade increases the La Prima's force from 12Nm to 16Nm.
The upgrade's only shortcomings, distinguishing it from the Forte range, are the lack of USB functionality and the LED strips.
Racehub, Asetek's software, is required for the wheels to work.
Asetek is using Initium to enter the entry-level sim racer market. This product line cuts the fat and offers an entire ecosystem for budget-conscious sim racers to experience the quality of Asetek hardware.
Asetek's newest product line, Initium
The new Initium rig can be used as a GT-style layout or a Formula car cockpit. At this price point, having the option to do both is a lovely option for people looking for a lightweight cockpit that can be folded under a staircase or up against a wall if necessary. The included pair of caster wheels also assist with this movability.
Formula and GT-style seating positions
The adjustability of the rig is demonstrated clearly in the video. Adjusting the seating position and the monitor's angle or wheelbase is very simple; it requires you to loosen just two bolts. Entry-level rigs from other companies' efforts look much more complex than what Asetek is offering, and the price point tops it all off—a surprisingly low entry point of 400 euros, dollars or pounds.

Invicta T.H.O.R.P II
Asetek is refreshing its top-of-the-line braking technology with the new Invicta T.H.O.R.P II. This new hydraulic cylinder allows more significant braking travel to mimic more of a road car feel than the classic Asetek rock-hard GT brake pedal. The adjustability allows you to choose between the hard GT-style brake and the longer and softer travel of a road car or entry-level formula car.Asetek's new easy-to-adjust T.H.O.R.P II hydraulic braking system.
