MOZA Racing starts 2025 with the launch of two new pieces of hardware, as the manufacturer presents the FSR2 Formula Wheel and CM2 Dash display.

After a busy end to 2024 that included the launch of the PC-only version of the R3 Racing Bundle and the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 steering wheel, MOZA Racing starts 2025 by launching two new pieces of sim racing hardware simultaneously: The MOZA FSR2 Formula Steering Wheel and the CM2 Dash are now available.

MOZA Racing FSR2 Formula Wheel

The new wheel's predecessor, the FSR, already ranged near the top end of the MOZA line-up of steering wheels, and the FSR2 looks to be its replacement. Those who know the older wheel will be familiar with the shape and overall layout, but there are a few new and reworked features that differ from the FSR - the most obvious one being the expansion to six paddles in the back instead of the four found on the FSR. This adds another set of paddles above the shifter paddles and the analog clutch paddles.

Another difference is the upgraded screen. While still measuring 4.3 inches diagonally, it is now a touchscreen. On the sides of this screen, three new LEDs can be found on each side. As with other MOZA products, these can be customized via the Pit House software, but we expect it not to be compatible with SimHub as other MOZA products are not, either.

Features

  • Fully Customizable UI
  • 6 RGB Signal Lights
  • 6-Paddle Design
  • Dual 7-Way Switches
  • 4.3-Inch Touchscreen Display
  • Quad-Core Processor

The MOZA Racing FSR2 Formula Wheel looks to replace the original FSR, as its pricing is in line with the older model's. MOZA lists the FSR2 with a $649.00 / € 699.00 / £649.00 price tag.

For those who prefer a stationary display instead of one mounted to their wheels, MOZA also has something new lined up: The CM2 Dash modernizes the manufacturer's display offering. Compared to the CM Racing Dash, the CM2 looks more modern, features 10 RGB shift lights and three flag lights on either side of the 5-inch 720p touchscreen.

As with the FSR2 wheel's display, the CM2 Dash features a customizable UI that lets users share their creations with other MOZA users - a brand-new feature in the Pit House software.

The MOZA Racing CM2 Dash is listed to cost $ 199.00 / € 219.00 / £ 195.00.

Between 450 and 500€ WITH SIMHUB COMPATIBILITY I would had been yelling them to shut up and take my money. Without Simhub support that display is dead to me, and it is going to be dead for every user once they stop adding support for new games after the display reach it's end of life.

With Simhub support you know that this display would work for the years to come until the display physically dies. The price could had a pass at 550€ (vat included), but in my eyes the hand grips should had been covered in alcantara leather to warrant that premium price.

I still applaud them for creating this wheel, it shows that they are ambitious. It took Thrustmaster decades to do something that still falls short of this product build quality and features, Logitech still thinks that steering wheels are toys, and it shows in their lack of ambition, and Fanatec believes that they are selling you real competition hardware with their pricing.

Anyways, it is still positive that the industry seems to be starting to react and move in a direction in where we have more features. For eons the industry had stagnated. Now DD is becoming mainstream, this kind of wheels like the one in the article are becoming cheaper. But now we need someone in the industry to recognize that in 2025 they can't keep churning out pedal sets with only hall sensors, like a decade ago still was seen as normal pedals with potentiometers. Load cell brake pedals shouldn't even be an option, it should be the baseline.

They need to understand that the industry needs to stop the pedal set technological stagnation that they have been for more than a decade, so load cell pedals can become mainstream even on entry level pedal sets. And they also need to improve some level of adjustment on pedal separation, pedal stiffness and pedal travel.

I don't understand the ridiculous prices on these DDUs, the screens on them aren't that expensive, even a new cheap phone isn't, connect to simhub and you have a wireless dash lol

Then Moza keeps making wheels with screens but no simhub support. They are better making budget hardware again.

2x 7way Funky switches, Finally just took them 2 1/2 years to understand that people don't want d-pads that are disguised as a joystick
