F1 Manager 2024: Nintendo Switch Version Announced

Frontier Developments have announced a Nintendo Switch version of F1 Manager 2024. The series will make its debut on the console alongside the usual PlayStation, Xbox and PC versions.

Formula One fans who prefer the pit wall instead of the cockpit are looking forward to July 23 - that is when F1 Manager 2024 is set to release for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series X|S, and PC - and, as creator Frontier Developments announced, on Nintendo Switch as well. For the first time, players will be able to manage their team on the go (aside from handhelds like the Steam Deck, of course).

Nintendo's hybrid console is behind the competition's systems by quite a margin in 2024, but that does not mean that players will face much limitation. Of course, the on-track presentation is most likely not going to look as polished as in the other versions, but Frontier made it a point to underscore that the Switch version of F1 Manager 2024 "will contain all the same features as the game on PC and other consoles."

This means that every feature the title promised for the other platforms, such as the all-new Create-a-Team mode will also be present on the Switch. A manager game like this could be a good fit for the console, as hardware specs are not as important as in other types of games. Plus, picking up where you left off after a hours-long train ride once you are back home on your couch seems like a nice prospect.

F1 Manager 2024 on Nintendo Switch is set to retail for £29.99/$34.99/€34.99. Physical copies of the game are not planned, only a digital version for the Nintendo Store is planned.
