A short one-week break for the drivers and teams is over as everyone once again congregates around the Miami Hard Rock Stadium for what promises to be a competitive first round in the USA.
Last time out in Jeddah, it was the McLaren of Oscar Piastri that took the top step of the podium with Max Verstappen coming home in a close second, and for the first time this year, the scarlet Ferrari of Charles Leclerc took the third step.

Hamilton's on-track highlight of 2025 has been a victory in China's sprint race. Still, the more recent results have been infuriating for the determined Brit, having ended the triple header with two P7 results in Japan and Jeddah and a P5 in Bahrain.

Hamilton was asked during the media day in Miami about what prevented him from repeating that level of performance he showed in China across either of the triple-header rounds:
With Hamilton drawing a lot of similarities to his first few months at Mercedes, is he piling on the pressure to start pulling some serious results out of the hat, as it were?

Tsunoda stepped up to the Milton Keynes-based team from his previous VCARB home of four years at Round 3 in Japan, the team having opted to swap him with a drowning Liam Lawson.
At the tail end of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix weekend, Helmut Marko of Red Bull Racing was asked what Yuki Tsunoda had to improve on the most to keep his seat, and Marko, being his usual self, gave a blunt and honest answer: Regular Q3 qualifying appearances. Tsunoda agreed and promised to make Q3 appearances a normality for that side of the Red Bull garage moving forward.

The Racing Bulls livery is a massive advertisement for the new Summer Red Bull energy drink flavour. However, it is also fantastic and a real pop of colour in what is often one of the most extravagant races on the 2025 calendar. The pull tabs on the wheel aero disks are a really creative touch that adds some personality to the livery.
Now, to the elephant in the proverbial room... Ferrari. Their one-off livery for Miami is slightly less special, and whilst the concept is the same in that they are dedicating their title sponsorship to the entire livery, it does not quite hit the same as the Racing Bulls effort.

If you tune into this weekend's Grand Prix, do not be shocked to see the naturally scarlet Ferraris appear to have an identity crisis, with streaks of blue throughout the livery. The design is supposed to signify the first anniversary of the technology brand HP, which has been working with Ferrari for a year.
The livery is not good... The blue and red do not work particularly well together, and the classes of the blue and white wheels with red and black bodies are rather poignant.

The third team to debut a new livery at this weekend's Miami Grand Prix is the Kick Sauber outfit. Although their colours are unchanged, a less conventional graffiti splatter style wraps the C45 in celebration of Miami's richly diverse art scene.
Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto will wear special race suits with a Miami-inspired design, like the other two teams. The new look will also be seen in the team's garage and on Sauber's pitlane equipment. Whilst the look is not quite as drastic as the other two teams, is it an improvement to the original?

Yuki Tsunoda on adjusting to Red Bull
Tsunoda explained the differences between driving the new RB21 and his previous car, the VCARB 02, directly after his early race exit in Jeddah. The Japanese driver will be hoping for a much better race in Miami, especially with Red Bull's reputation and track record with under-performing drivers.Yuki Tsunoda, Jeddah. Miami's Liveries
Each year, the Miami Grand Prix attracts all of the one-off liveries, allowing the teams to showcase their creativity or fulfil contractual obligations, in Ferrari's case. Kick Sauber have also debuted a slightly adjusted look, but the center of attention, as is becoming a tradition with these one off livery reveals, is Racing Bulls.Racing Bulls' striking Magenta livery.
