After an undoubtedly less-than-exciting third round at Suzuka, the Formula One circus moves to the second weekend of its first triple header at Bahrain for round four!
The Bahrain International Circuit is located just outside the growing metropolis of Sakir. The Grand Prix layout, identical to that used in pre-season testing at the start of the season, is a 5.4-kilometre track comprised of 15 corners. Due to the immense heat, the circuit is considered to be one of the more challenging venues for both cars and drivers, hence why the race is held at night under floodlights.
Looking back at what some would consider the best race at the Bahrain International Circuit, the 2014 running, could we see the Mercedes at the front of the grid with both drivers in form? Or are we in for another blockbuster showing of Max Verstappen vs. McLaren fighting at the sharp end of the grid?

The races are coming thick and fast at the start of the 2025 season. As the Formula One setup reaches the dunes of Sakir, the second round of the first triple header looms on the not-too-distant horizon. Bahrain is a familiar venue for this year's group of teams and drivers, with the circuit hosting pre-season testing.
Japan saw Verstappen take his first win of the season, moving him to within just a single point of championship leader and papaya price Lando Norris after three rounds. The McLaren does look to be the quickest car on the grid when you take away driver errors and strategy mistakes, but those factors play a huge part and have allowed the Red Bull driver to close in and split the McLarens.

Oscar Piastri's other McLaren sits behind the defending World champion, just 13 points off the championship lead. The mistake at his home race in Melbourne has separated him from the top two.
Including Lewis Hamilton's dominant sprint race victory from pole in China, Formula One has had four different winners from four different race events, and all four of them started on pole. More now than ever, the drivers need to perform on the Saturday in Qualifying as it is in the race on Sunday!

The 23-year-old ex-Racing Bulls test and reserve driver Iwasa has already completed two practice sessions in Japan and Abu Dhabi in 2024. This will likely not be the last time we see the young driver, who is desperate to land a full-time role on the grid in the future.

Verstappen vs McLaren... Let them cook
Last weekend, we saw a less-than-thrilling race at what is supposed to be one of the world's most exciting race circuits, Suzuka. The Japanese Grand Prix was not a classic, but it only added to the drama of the points tallies. Plenty of consistent driving and some good battles, although few and far between, showed how much each front-runner wants this title ripped out of Verstappen's grasp.Japan saw Verstappen take his first win of the season, moving him to within just a single point of championship leader and papaya price Lando Norris after three rounds. The McLaren does look to be the quickest car on the grid when you take away driver errors and strategy mistakes, but those factors play a huge part and have allowed the Red Bull driver to close in and split the McLarens.
