German-based brand Fanatec has released its brand-new website after a prolonged downtime for customers. The new site is the next step in bringing Fanatec in line with the other Corsair family brands.

Many Fanatec users, especially long-term customers, are used to the original Fanatec website. A slow and clunky user experience was seen as usual; however, this new update and refresh have brought Fanatec out of the early 2010s and into 2025!

American Buyers

Here at OverTake, we always try to separate sim racing from politics. However, with the tariffs being implemented in Europe, American fans and buyers of Fanatec gear are expected to have to pay more for their products.

Top selection of Fanatec's discounted steering wheels.

As it stands right now, every wheel rim, excluding the Bentley GT3 and the BMW GT3, is marked as significantly discounted, although it appears that prices have still increased compared to what they were previously. As promised, each steering wheel does come with the wheel-side QR2, which is upgradable at your discretion.

If you are interested in purchasing any Fanatec gear and you like what we do here at OverTake, please consider using our Fanatec affiliate link. We make a small commission on each sale made using this link, without any extra costs for you. With that, you can support your favourite sim racing community so that we can keep hosting all the downloads you need and post all the news, reviews, features, and more.

The new Fanatec site seems much faster and more intuitive, it will be a question of habit I think but I'm getting used to it well. The Fanalab Drivers are still missing to download and only a part of the Forum is active... but everything will come with time I presume. Good work!

It's certainly a step in the right direction! Hopefully, this is a turning point for them :)

The Gran Turismo DD Pro bundle (5 Nm) went up from $750 to $950. As much as I want to switch from the G29, that's way too much... If only Moza would support the PS5...

Having a play with it shipping is free now and the taxes are included in the UK price at least which I can’t remember if it was before as the last thing I bought from them was pre-Brexit and only looked at the website since then when considering a Podium DD2 but the QR2 took too long to release and they folded so I went elsewhere.

I remember getting the P1 V2 for around CAD 160 about, what, 2.5 years ago?

It's now CAD 519.

Hot damn.

The McLaren GT3 V2 from 199 to 320€?!?! Are they completly nuts? 😆 Hopefully nobody will buy their wheels. Corsair has to learn it the hard way. Good bye Fanatec!

The best clear display of Sim Racing Gran Turismo perfection from the Fanatec website. When time, quality and enjoyment matter, you can do no better. Tho the v2.5X still is the champ, my BMW and McLaren rims just don't have the same ergonomic fit. Shame the site no longer shows the BMW or Bentley rims.
Expecting to set a/subwoofer(s) behind the Fanatec/Corsair throne and not having 6 surround sound speaker mounts for it is lacking and disappointing.
Worst of all the things we are not allowed to talk about becuase political censor and now $300 or $400 price increase for the ClubSport GT frame mount. and only undermount and no side mount for DD+?! do they even use their own stuff? Or are they just tiny itsy bitsy users?

If you click you will see that if you get it with the QR2-Lite mount it costs 219.95 Euro. Certainly, 100 Euro for the QR2 is kind of crazy.

EU buyers: before you even think of Fanatec, try Asetek first, especially the Forte bundle. Waaaay better than any Fanatec product. If you're wealthy enough to afford the Invicta, go for that. Man, what a difference compared to Fanatec (and Moza, etc.)!
And I don't have Asetek stocks, just really spoiled with their material and customer support.
