Today's update adds (a) real Porsche 936 drivers to Group 6 and (b) 2006 Ferrari F430 Challenge drivers to the F430 Cup (the latter can be found at AMS2 Modding Discord>AMS2 Mods>content-releases). The F430 mod is in beta status, and separate .crd files are available to add the car either to the GT3 class or Xela's GT3_LMS_MP412CP class. I added the drivers to both the relevant .xml files, and I also generated a "F430 Cup.xml" file in case the car is eventually placed within its own category, like the F355 and F488 Challenge cars.

Today's update includes revised +skins archives that are compatible with WOLF's V1.6 skins for canrod88's LMGT3 cars. In V1.6, the Ferrari and Mustang GT3 cars are added to an expanded GT3 Gen2 class alongside Reiza's vehicles. Consequently, the +AI+skins version features individual driver attributes for Reiza drivers similar to the ranges given to drivers of mod cars.

Thanks to the most recent batch of KAOS Mods' cars, the total number of real drivers added to AMS2 (above the default content) is now over 3,000!

In order to minimize the number of repeated drivers across different exotic road & track-day vehicle categories (e.g., Supercars, Hypercars, etc.), and recognizing the inevitability of additional entries into these categories, NAMeS decided to take its inspiration from well-heeled motorsports gatherings such as the Goodwood Revival and Monterey Historics. For example, the Hypercars added by KAOS mods feature many historical race drivers from each marque's Golden Era, all of whom can be considered honored invitees to our evergreen AMS2 Festival of Speed.

That being said, Pagani--being relatively uninterested in racing compared to other marques--does feature more duplication of drivers between classes. Perhaps with a bit more reflection, I'll hit upon an approriate group of additional racers who agree to represent Pagani with gusto.
This week's updates adds drivers for mods by Canrod88, including LMGT3 (Ferrari 296 GT3 & Mustang GT3) as well as an expanded LMDh category that now includes his Acura ARX-06.
Today's update adds additional drivers to Thunderflash's Initial D category as well as his Nissan 370Z Cup.

Happy Ides of March!
NAMeS abhors a vacuum, so today's update adds real S14 (and a few S13) drivers for the tuned Nissan 200SX (Street D class) available from the PCARS Modding Team.
Whoever thinks there are too many GT3 cars in simracing may not care for this update, but for those who do want more, here are the drivers for KAOS Mods' GT3 3-pack ... as a result, Reiza's [Gen1] GT3 class just swelled its numbers.

The finalized 08Feb25 also includes all drivers for all the new PCARS Mod Team Hypercars!

This version also adds updated archives for the two "+skins" add-ons that add support for WOLF's extra Porsche 919 skins available at TAMS2SP. Welcome to the grid, Nico!

Also, I added a pair of files in the hotfix pack (installed automatically) that removes an "&" from one of @RacerXtc's Caper Monterey liveries. Thanks to @seb0272 for reporting the error.

Therefore, unless I missed a mod out there, NAMeS: Real Driver for AMS2 Mods is back to being comprehensively complete--at least until the next mods are released....
Today's update includes two new drivers for Thunderflash's Initial D mod v1.1.

I doubled-checked the Caper Monterey data and they match with the class and livery names within the mod. I didn't change anything, so I assume the recent review was an isolated issue (if several of you PM me here at RD about it I can take another look).

Files for all the recent KAOS Mods hypercars (their Ferrari 488 Challenge mod already has a NAMeS file) are inputted in my database but I'll need to find a lot of drivers to fill the much-larger Hypercars category. As I find the time, I'll see what I can do.

I plan to finalize the NAMeS drivers for the KAOS 3-car GT3 pack and release that in the next update.

Appendix:

The following "update" was posted earlier this week but meant for this Mod, not the original NAMeS mod. FWIW, here it is in its correct place:

Additional updates will arrive soon—after I put a lap on my pneumonia

After Charlottesville’s record low temps about two weeks ago, temperatures have risen enough since then to energize practically every viral pathogen with a double-diffuser advantage. Fortunately, the telemetry is looking favorable to turn the tables and storm back to a well-deserved win.

The way things are trending, I should be able to address any recent errors in various files and add any new updates at some point later this week.

This updates adds NASCAR & Trans-Am Series drivers to RacerXtc's Caper Monterey & Mustang Cobra mods, respectively.

There are some duplicate driver names in the NASCAR list, for now, as the drivers are based solely on livery.

Also, some 1997 Chevy Trans-Am drivers were recruited to drive in RacerXtc's single-make Ford Mustang Cobra class. I have consulted with Egon Spengler, and he is "pretty certain" that the universe will survive....

Thunderflash's Initial D mod gained another entry, so NAMeS adds another driver: Ryosuke Takahashi drives the Initial D Mazda RX-7 Type R.
This week's (month's?) update adds Takumi Fujiwara to Thunderflash's Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX (AE86) [beta] mod.

Consider the obvious selection of a fictional driver in this case to be the exception that proves the "Real Drivers for AMS2" rule....
Similarly to the default NAMeS mod, today's update has removed any real world owners of various road cars and replaced them all with race-driver brand ambassadors, with one, notable exception: Herbert von Karajan still races his red 959. After all, the Austrian conductor's 959 was only the last of many iconic examples in his garage....
