The OverTake Racing Club is going where F1 never went: Join us on the grid in Automobilista 2 this Friday for some V10-powered goodness at Road America!
Road America is one of those classic old-school tracks in the United States. Fast, flowing, extremely popular among fans, and a mainstay in the IndyCar series, the track is also well represented in sim racing, Automobilista 2 being no exception.
Throwing around the old CART-era cars there is tremendous fun, but what about F1 cars of roughly the same year? Should you have ever been wondering about that, Friday's event in the OverTake Racing Club is the perfect opportunity to find out: On May 2, 2025, we are going to roll out the Formula V10 Gen 2 cars in virtual Wisconsin for a 26-lap contest.
While technically a 2001 car, the 1999 Skin Pack by @Immersion Modding Group is a great fit regardless, and we are looking forward to seeing famous 90s liveries like the yellow hornet-bearing Jordans, the white Stewarts with the three-time World Champion's family tartan pattern on them, or light blue Benettons. Of course, you're free to run any livery pack you like - plenty of choice out there, like 1998, 2000 or 2001.
Weather: Real
Fuel Usage/Tyre Wear: Authentic
Damage Type/Scale: Performance Impacting/ Low
Bravery Level: Send it
