Join Us In Chicago: OverTake Is The Official Media Partner Of Sim Gaming Expo 2025

Sim Gaming Expo OverTake Partnership.png
For the first time ever, Sim Gaming Expo is happening in 2025: From September 5 to 7, Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center in Chicago is going to be all about sim racing, flight sims, and other simulation games – and OverTake is the proud Media Partner of the event.

The United States have been waiting for a sim expo for a long time. It is not that often that our favorite hobby comes together in one place, and even less so outside of Europe, it seems. While there are multiple events like that on the old continent, North American sim racers have not been as fortunate.
Note how this is written in past tense, though.

That is because in September 2025, trying sim hardware, chatting with fellow sim enthusiasts, competing in races and simply indulging in sim racing anywhere you look has a home: Sim Gaming Expo is coming to the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois, for the first time ever.

And rest assured: This is an event coming from the sim racing community itself. Organizer Jorge Anzaldo is an avid sim racer himself and has set out to create a US-based expo for simulation gaming, including sim racing – which is now finally materializing.

Sim Gaming Expo Premieres In Chicago

As Sim Gaming Expo is the first event of this kind in the United States, OverTake is proud to be its media partner! Jorge aims to connect and bring together sim racers and sim gamers, to provide a meeting point for the community and the industry, all under one roof – something that we wholeheartedly support, especially since we know that we have a sizable North American community.

September may still be a few months away, which means there is plenty of time for interesting announcements and background to be covered. First and foremost, that means Jorge’s story and how the event came to be – you will learn more about this very soon!

Leading up to the event, we will exclusively cover news of the event, new products and exhibitors, and planned activities – and, of course, there will be on-site coverage once Sim Gaming Expo opens its doors. Before that happens, we are working closely with Jorge to also create an exciting stage program for the event.

Additionally, OverTake will be part of the event in Chicago as the community meeting point – don’t hesitate to stop by for a chat! We are already excited to meet our North American community.

Tickets for the event are already available via the official website, either for a single day, or as a 2-day or 3-day pass. Try the latest hardware for yourself, meet content creators and brands, win prizes and benefit from special discounts – Sim Gaming Expo 2025 has a lot in store for everyone.

We may have a special ticket sale or two for OverTake members on the way, too – if you’re planning on going to Chicago, keep an eye on our website, social media, and YouTube channels.

Is The last garage attending, holding sim comp?
We are currently working with iRacing to create one of our competitions. We hope to bring on other sim platforms as well. Our aim is to showcase sim racing vs focusing on one competition / tournament taking place over the entire weekend. Stay tuned for more information!

If I wasnt one to avoid crowds like the plague, I would be there. Im only about an hour south.

The good news:
This is only about 30 minutes away from where I live.

The bad news:
Of course this event is occurring during the year I'm facing significant health challenges. Complete coin toss whether I'll even be in good enough shape to attend. :(

Fingers crossed for your health to improve! Not just for the event, but in general, of course. Being healthy is one of the greatest gifts - all the best for you :)
