The first significant update for Wreckfest 2 is due in May, so we want to hear what you want to see added to the title. Do you want more tracks? More cars? Or maybe you want something completely different! Let us know in the comments down below!
Wreckfest 2 burst into early access for the scene in March this year to a positive reception in general. The online races were well populated, and the single-player still had all the original charm that made the original Wreckfest so good. But it is time for some new content, and the player numbers are slowly decreasing with the limited amount of content available.

Speculation surrounding the next update for Wreckfest 2 is certainly gaining momentum, with fans eager for fresh content and features. Experienced developer Bugbear Entertainment has yet to confirm what exactly is in the pipeline for Wreckfest 2. Still, the community is alive with theories based on patterns from the original Wreckfest.
The roadmap confirms the addition of new vehicles. There are whispers of more eccentric options on the way, such as monster trucks or returning favourites such as the Panther, an interpretation of the Jaguar XJS. Enhanced customisation tools and deeper performance tuning are also widely expected, but it could potentially be a bit ambitious to expect them in this first update.
The classic Ford Mustang style vehicle is a fan favourite in the Wreckfest 2 community.
Multiplayer improvements remain atop our wishlist here at Over Take, and it appears that most of the playerbase feels the same. A more streamlined matchmaking system and a new competitive format could be fantastic, especially if there are unique rewards for climbing the online ladder of Wreckfest 2.
Graphical upgrades are another point of speculation for the second update before the full release. However, the title already looks great and performs fantastically thanks to the in-house game engine ROMU. Given the shift to next-gen consoles at full release, the console players are itching to get their hands on Wreckfest 2.
Wreckfest 2's online racing can get messy very fast.
While no official update date has been announced, the growing chatter amongst fans of the series suggests Bugbear may break its silence soon. Until then, the Wreckfest 2 community continues to trade theories.
