The Nürburgring-Nordschleife is one of the most difficult tracks out there - so our Racing Club wants to find the Master of The Green Hell! Five events, five different cars and one Eifel rollercoaster await Premium Members.
Our Racing Club is a great place to race some exciting combinations across different sims, and even some oddballs as well - you may or may not have spotted some more light-hearted contests during the Holidays. The new Master of The Green Hell series in Assetto Corsa will see a variety of cars tackle the Nürburgring-Nordschleife - five times in total.
The concept might sound familiar: Back in 2023, iRacing introduced its Ring Meister series, which sees 12 weeks of competition at the Nordschleife, each week featuring a different car. The difference to our Racing Club is that not-so-serious combinations are not really possible - or have you ever raced a van in iRacing?
The other rounds feature more racing-spec machinery, such as the BMW Z4 GT3 or the Jidé 1600. Check the full schedule below!
Each race will be a 60-minute contest with a mandatory pit stop for fuel. Practice servers will also be available! For more info, check out the Master of The Green Hell forum post - for each race, an individual even thread will be available, and those that are already around show pretty decent grids already. So why not join them? Simply sign up for them - and if you are not a Premium Member yet, it is never too late to become one if you like what we are doing on OverTake and want to support us.
It is safe to say that the variety of cars on the schedule require vastly different skillsets - do you have what it takes to become Master of The Green Hell?
What is your favorite car to race on the Nordschleife? Are you going to sign up for one or more races of the Master of The Green Hell series? Let us know in the comments below!

Round 1 can safely be considered a tribute. If you have been wondering about this article's header image, the first domino might fall now - the first race will take place using @garyjpaterson's 2005 Ford Transit, an hommage to Sabine Schmitz. 'The Queen of the Ring' famously lapped the Nordschleife in such a Transit van in 2005 in just over 10 minutes, narrowly missing out on beating then-Top Gear moderator Jeremy Clarkson's time he had set in a Jaguar S-Type.The other rounds feature more racing-spec machinery, such as the BMW Z4 GT3 or the Jidé 1600. Check the full schedule below!
- Thursday, January 9 - Ford Transit 2005
- Sunday, January 12 - BMW Z4 GT3
- Tuesday, January 14 - Jidé 1600
- Wednesday, January 15 - Mazda MX5 Cup
- Thursday, January 16 - Radical SR3 XXR
