2025 F1 Livery Pack For Automobilista 2

The new Formula One game may not release until late May, but sim racers can get their 2025 F1 fix in Automobilista 2 already thanks to the appropriate livery pack.

The 2025 Formula One season sees its fourth race already this weekend when the lights go out at Suzuka, and fans are eager to hop in the cockpit themselves - the March player numbers on Steam showed this, with F1 24 seeing a notable increase of average concurrent players. The new game is still almost two months away, but Automobilista 2 could be a good alternative: @KRRTDustin has once again released a livery pack for the new season.

Created for the Formula Ultimate Gen 2 car, the F1 2025 Skin Pack was uploaded on February 17 already in its first version, and while it still has not reached v1.0 status, version 0.9 already offers most of what you would need. Car liveries, helmets (some of them in their 2024 version), driver suits - only the car previews when selecting a livery in the AMS2 UI are still 2024-spec, but that should change soon.

Of course, AI files are also included, so you will see the actual names of the 2025 F1 grid in AMS2, and they should perform close to their real-life counterparts as well. As the season progresses, this will probably be fine-tuned to match the actual drivers even closer.

The pack does not yet reflect the cockpit swap between Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix, and the one-off special liveries are also not included. However, if KRRTDustin's 2024 pack is any indication, this should be added in due time. Last year's pack featured special liveries and even the XML selector known from @Immersion Modding Group creations.

Lewis Hamilton in red might still take some time to get used to, but the yellow helmet in a Ferrari does look rather good.

2025 F1 Tracks In Automobilista 2

  • Suzuka (called Kansai in game)
  • Imola
  • Monaco (called Azure Circuit in game)
  • Catalunya
  • Montreal
  • Red Bull Ring
  • Silverstone
  • Spa-Francorchamps
  • Monza
  • Interlagos

Automobilista 2 may not have that many tracks that are on the actual 2025 F1 schedule, but there are plenty of circuits that fans would love to see back in the World Championship at some point. The Nürburgring or Hockenheim come to mind, our you could finally have Formula One return to Kyalami and even Long Beach, should you be so inclined.

It's a fantastic skin pack by KRRTDustin. Very easy to go into the custom AI drivers XML file and make changes to keep pace with fickle teams like RB, swapping Tsunoda and Lawson. Won't reflect on the skin previews, but the appropriate drivers will be assigned in-game. Also easy to alter performance variables to best reflect proven capability/progress throughout a season.

Very impressed with how far Reiza has brought the driving dynamics of the F-Ult. Gen 2. Feels nearly as good as the gold standard VRS and RSS formula alpha/hybrid mods for AC, albeit with less depth of systems simulation. More than made up for by AI that is fun to race against where unfortunately AC AI is still in the pits. Even catch AI on slow/build laps during practice and quali getting off the racing line and out of my way. Great fun.

I don’t believe the 2024 pack contained “ALL” special liveries, iirc the Silverstone RedBull Livery was never added.

Great skin pack though for sure, but it didn’t contain “ALL” special liveries and that should be updated in the write up to “most”

Exactly, I haven´t done all special liveries. Pretty much only the McLaren Senna. I had more almost ready but so much was happening late in the season that I had to decide if I will gonna bring the driver swaps or the special liveries. Today I will bring out an update which will include everything that was part of this season so far like the Suzuka Liveries and the Red Bull driver swap. (except helmets, they will be ready soon).

I would love to have them but I have no idea on how to install them. I can't figure out the instructions. I'm not very computer savy. I went to Steam, right clicked on Autmobilista 2, browse local files, that opened up the Automobilista 2 folder. So then are you supposed to go back to downloads, open the zip file for the skins all the way until you see "user data and vehicles" then put them into the Automobilista 2 folder?

The easiest is to use
This tool cant't be pointed out enough for AMS2-mods.
But keep it simple. Mods can overwrite other mods.
