F1 25 Initial Driver Ratings Unveiled: Do You Agree?

F1 25 Driver Ratings.jpg
The official launch day driver ratings for EA Sports F1 25 are out, and with several newcomers to the grid, they are sure to cause hot debate. Do you agree with Adriana Bravo, the so-called "Chief Ratings Officer?"

As we have learnt in the past, F1 25 will see an overhauled My Team mode. Players will be booted from the driver line-up and instead make their way to the management team. That leaves space for not one but two AI driver slots to fill, and so Driver Ratings are supposedly more important than ever.

Well, with the game just a few weeks away from its 30 May release, it is time to start planning your My Team line-up as EA and Codemasters have unveiled the initial Driver Ratings for F1 25 launch day. Whether you agree with them or not, these are the ratings you will have to deal with upon the title's launch.

Verstappen Tops the Charts in F1 25

As expected for the official game of the 2025 Formula One season, last year's championship winner, Max Verstappen still tops the Driver Rating standings with a near-perfect overall score of 95 out of 100. The Dutchman tops the table for both Pace and Racecraft, the latter of which he showed off well at the Miami Grand Prix last weekend ,holding off the pair of McLarens for several laps.

Much like the top spot, the rest of the table is all very expected until you step outside the Top 6 with current Championship leader Oscar Piastri getting a score of 87 out of 100, no doubt influenced by his lack of Experience. On the contrary, experienced master Fernando Alonso sees his rating as placing him above Australians, once again thanks to an Experience Rating of 99.

Rookie F1 25 Driver Rating

The big talking point going into F1 25 will be the position of the five Rookie drivers for the 2025 season. Oliver Bearman and Gabriel Bortoleto both get 74 on the Driver Rating scale, while the now-outed Jack Doohan sits on 73. Miami Sprint Race pole-sitter Kimi Antonelli comes in with the second-to-last Driver Rating, while Isack Hadjar brings up the rear.

Here is how the remaining F1 25 Driver Ratings settle out as we look forward to the title's launch come the end of the month.

I don't even know how the ratings work. I mean experience for instance doesn't make a driver faster. And how would it show itself in the game anyway? Consistency would be a more pertinent factor.

Few racing games have anything like humanlike AI behaviour so I think trying or even pretending to replicate actual individuals but good for EA to aim high. Let's see how the end product turns out.

The list was obviously generated a long time before the season started, and it should have been reassessed before being attatched to the game... it'simply so far wrong.
I'd call it under quality control, it didn't just slip through the net nobody at 'EA Sports F1' even cared to look.

F1 25 showing itself to be more and more disappointing with every new piece of news they release. How is Hadjar 68 and Lawson 80 when Hadjar has beaten Lawson in almost every race. Antonelli has been far better than Doohan, Bortoletto, Bearman, Stroll etc. Sometimes I feel it will be good if Sony or someone else takes over the F1 license because Codemasters have lost the plot.

Hamilton and Alonso’s stats for race craft should be much higher, they should be maxing out every category. If the was a category for reactions that would be lower.

Sainz Racecraft 96 (THE BEST in the game! - on par only with Verstappen!?!)
in the meantime, Albon --- 82

:D:D

What a stupid circus!! It should have been a F1 race game but more and more it becomes an undirectional piece of garbage software that has nothing to do with actual racing. Its THAT bad. And all devs can do is draw kids with these stupid meaningless empty so called "trailers". What a complete joke

Doohan w/ more racecraft than Kimi and Hadjar...
Yeah, several things are off.

BTW, debating this thing is 3x more fun than the game itself.
