Some of the hardware equivalents from different manufacturers are weird, but this is how a system requirement sheet should look like in 2025.

Path tracing is going to be rough.

VR - 2K/Eye @ 90 fps
Is that before or after barrel distortion compensation?

If before then my 2K/eye Reverb G2 actually needs 3k/eye in Steam VR.
If after then the VR headset would need a hardware resolution of 1.4K/eye which is considerably below the norm of today.

Just questioning as not only is the definition left ambiguously, but I'm sceptical of it being 2k before as 90fps on high is quite the target - I play '24 at 2k before (or 3k after) but only at @45fps reprojected to 90 on medium on my 3090, so surely their figure is 2k/eye @ 90fps after compensation must be referring to an essentially out of date headset.

Either some massive optimisation has been done, or they've completely disregarded barrel compensation and run hardware res as software res, or the chart is somewhat misleading by using old hardware as a reference point (?)

Also, why is Intel CPU stated as "N/A"? What does that mean? It's not supported? They didn't bother benchmarking Intel? It doesn't matter?!??!

Also, why list 2x nVidia GPUs in one configuration that have very different performances? A 5080 is 61% faster than a 3080 Ti and a 5090 is 49% faster than a 4090.

Have I suddenly become incredibly dumb or does that chart contain a fair bit of nonsense?

So let me get this straight... They allow a pre-load just ONE HOUR before actual release believing that people can download the FULL GAME in ONE HOUR??? Bit un-realistic if you ask me...

with 8gigabit internet fiber at home, I can download 1 gigaoctet per seconds, it means I need 2 minutes to download 120go game....2025 bro.

Abut the game, I will build a new F1 only rig, and I will test this new game, not F1 fan, but I will have fun for sure.
