Assetto Corsa EVO 0.1.6 is finally here! Included in the update are the Lamborghini Huracán STO and the iconic Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione 2, as well as a new circuit to master, Fuji Speedway.

Alongside the previously announced Lamborghini, Lancia and Fuji Speedway comes a breadth of new changes and additions. From new AI pathways and adjustments to UI changes and bug fixes plus a new and updated content release roadmap! The 0.1.6 update looks to be a solid second effort for Assetto Corsa EVO in 2025.

Unfortuantly for you driving academy fans, the new content will not be present within the mode. However, the special events will feature both cars and Fuji Speedway. Check out our live stream with Michel on our YouTube channel for a live preview of the new content!

"At the moment, the Driving Academy will stay the same, while the cars and Fuji track will be accessible for the Special Events." - Valerio, Kunos Simulazioni

New Content

Announced on Valentine's Day, the new cars and track were a great hit with fans! Today, they finally make their way into the game. Read all about them here or down below!

Lamborghini Huracán STO –
A true Italian stallion, inspired by the GT racing program and designed to deliver the ultimate experience in speed and precision on the road, the Lamborghini Huracán STO is a devious devil of a road car that desperately wants to be a GT3 car.

Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione 2 – Another Italian icon inspired by motorsport, the Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione 2 showcases the perfect combination of a perfectly presented turbo engine and all-wheel drive.

Fuji Speedway – For the first time in the history of the Assetto Corsa brand, players, fans and critics alike can experience the picturesque setting of Fuji Speedway. A technical and historic track soaked in rich history is exactly what Assetto Corsa EVO needs. Every corner is a challenge, make sure you are on your A game!

Tested the new spécial events.
It is a joke.
Disconected at the end of the 10 minutes, could not retrieve your data , press menu buttons which doesn´t exist (where it is ???).
......
Come on kunos, you can make it better.
Currently, no fun.
I will stay away for a while. No time to lose at this stage of the game .

If someone can explain me the point of these licences, i will be interested too (i made them all, and what ??)

I like new/more content, but the base FFB is not as detailed and rich as AC. :( I removed all filtering, smoothing from Simagic software, but it feels like there is a large amount of filtering from the game itself.

In AC, I can feel grains of sand of the road (almost ;)), where now, I only feel details when I hit a red or green turtle.

One reason to complete the licences is so that you can rent any of the cars, future updates will hopefully make the tests mean a bit more!

I care little about new content at this point, core issues that bother me are still there, hopefully the first big EA update will have more substantial improvements. To summarize... AI went from too lively to too careful, performance is still... meh, AMD texture bugs are still there.

I'm not excited by new content, nor for the changelog, I hope they speed up the pace of improvements and updates. I would be more interested in some vintage content tho, like 50's F1 or 60/70's GT's.

Same... The game is just a tech demo where we have to give ourselves 3-4 years of runway for it to be anything worthwhile...

And that's if modding is enabled to fill out the half arsed grids of race cars we're going to get...

Are you already bored of all the race cars in all the sims in existence?

Not at all, I need more... MORE!!!!

There's so many wonderful ones that no developer has touched... Why waste our time with another car collection game with cars that have been in so many other titles...

Oh how some simple cars offend some people :whistling:

Offend? No...

Bore the pants off of me in a video game? Yes...

Two words: "Early Access"

I've noticed a huge improvement in the speed to load a practice session, at least on my poor specs system.
Half the time compared to the previous versions. And also a few FPS increase in-game. Not bad.
On the other hand, I've noticed there's absolutely no smoke effect neither rubber traces on the tarmac when you make donuts.

Point me to the direction in sim racing where I can find the another car collection game? The last one I found was the original Assetto Corsa from 2014 and Project Cars series. All the other sim racing games before and after only have race cars. So we are long over due another sim with a mix between street and race cars (more race cars will probably come down the line in ACE).
