In the latest Teaser Tuesday post on the BeamNG socials, the team revealed a new and exciting feature for their upcoming rally mode: official pace notes!

The BeamNG team has been very vocal over the last few weeks, dropping teaser after teaser about the upcoming update, which is rumoured to be motorsport-themed! This latest drop shows what we had all been hoping would be included in the rally mode: official pace notes!

What is great to hear is that the voice behind the pace notes appears to be a recording, rather than AI. This is just a simple teaser, so there could be AI elements in there as well, but from this teaser, it is fairly safe to say that the pace notes are being read by an actual person and not a bot!

Rally in BeamNG has always been a hot topic, especially with the detailed physics and fantastic variety in the maps on offer. Check out our latest piece on a rally in BeamNG!

Right 100 in to mistake earned glorious destruction....
Triple caution, triple caution! You are not listening! You will break the car!

Based on my rally skill level, I could use codriver who gets indignant and repeats the calls for me with some frustrated pointing. I'll definitely test this out in BeamNg when available, but I don't expect to make it too far

If one racing discipline was fully implemented in BeamNG, it would be great, being rally or any other one. I may be in the minority of BeamNG's users but I would like less sandbox and more racing implementation. I think the game is a perfect base for a Cross Racing Championship sequel.

I understand that the company tuns primarly a B2B business and that the game is a bonus for us to enjoy this great engine, but amazing tools bring great expectations. I hope, when the engine will be ready, that it will be available to other developpers to develop other titles, focused on less content and bringing their own tire model and their own gameplay features.
