F1 24 Adds New Race Result Export Feature In v1.17 Update

With Season 5 well underway within F1 24, the most recent patch offers a handful of bug fixes and tweaks across all platforms and a PC-only addition that could change how drivers analyse and display their results from the 3rd of February.

Exporting session results in F1 24 is a big step forward for those who enjoy racing in online leagues and the built-in multiplayer. Printing results from the server allows for easy data implementation in a league table or an Excel sheet.

The export will put the data into a .csv file within your F1 24 game folder on your PC, so make sure you know where your game is installed and that the drive is not at 100% capacity. Alongside the results, the exported file will also contain all of the information from the regular finishing screen you see at the end of the race. All Incidents and Pit Stops for players and the AI will be visible.

v1.17 Patch Notes

  • Awarded Level 50 Podium Pass Customisation items to players for whom they were not previously unlocked correctly in Seasons 1, 2, & 3
In a handful of rare instances, players that reached Level 50 in the Podium Pass didn’t receive the correct rewards for Seasons 1, 2, and 3. For those affected, these items will be distributed via in-game mail starting February 4th following the online services update.
  • Added the ability to export session results for certain multiplayer modes (PC only)
This additional feature adds an Export Session Results option on the race results screen in Multiplayer Grand Prix and Leagues. When selected, this exports a .csv file into your F1 24 Folder in My Games. This file contains all the information from the Results screen along with all Incidents and Pit Stops which took place during the race for players and AI.

Additionally, a new option has been added to the Legal and Privacy menu in Settings in the Main Menu. Here you can turn “Show Name in Export Session Results” On or Off to decide whether to allow your Username to be seen by other players when they export session results.

  • Fixed an issue which was preventing the player's number from appearing on the Hethel Classic Livery 2024 and Grove Classic Livery 2024.
  • Fixed an issue which was preventing sponsor decals from appearing on a driver's suit after they'd been applied to their vehicle.
  • Fixed an issue where sponsors would not appear on the winner's racesuit on the Multiplayer Race Results screen
  • Fixed an issue in the Graphics Setting Menu which could cause a crash for some users when rapidly changing TAA modes (PC only)
  • Fixed a rare crash for some VR users when using a Flashback or exiting Instant Replay mode (PC only)
  • Various UI improvements

The community has been calling for the implementation of Liam Lawson and Franco Colapinto in place of Daniel Ricciardo and Logan Sargeant in the game. Still, this is not mentioned in v1.17. The clock is ticking before the studio's sole focus is F1 25. Do you think these drivers will ever be replaced in F1 24?

That's certainly a nice price and I wouldn't be against trying out the F1 series for the first time, but:
- Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: Denuvo Anti-tamper
- Requires 3rd-Party Account: EA Account
- Uses Kernel Level Anti-Cheat
EA Anti-Cheat - Requires manual removal after game uninstall

No, thank you.

Aww people crying about it using the same sort of anti cheat every single game uses. Get a life.

That said the only time this game ever gets launched is if my son plays it. Gets very boring very quickly.

EA needs to lose the license
At this point I kind of think that this is something that EA would actually prefer. I've heard rumours that revenue generated from the sales of F1 24 hasn't even begun to cover the cost of the F1 licence. These are rumours not fact, so take it with a pinch of salt.

However if these rumours are even close to being true that then I can't see the F1 licence being attractive to any other developer - too much financial risk to take on a multi million Euro licence while sales are waning.

I'm also of the opinion that the stagnated development of the F1 titles is as a direct result of the licence cost - not enough money left over to actually invest in the title, hence we've been recieving F1 2016 for 8 years now albeit with minor changes.

Wont be surprised it's getting too expensive, all these companies think gaming is big business, so they make their licenses twice the price of the previous contract or more.
For every logo they want money.
Plus F1 2023 or 2024... hardly any difference to pay the full price, every year..

They promised this feautre in F1 23 at an update, if I remember correctly they even added a switch in Privacy settings to hide names in the export. It looks like they needed another year to finish it.

I bought it at the reduced price, only to witness the worst UI (and UX in general) ever in my life. It's seriously that bad. Refunded.

I wonder what exactly those 'various UI improvements' mentioned in the update notes are but I suppose nothing ground breaking.

Please, somebody who owns the game and downloads the update, report here what are those UI improvements. Thanks.

You're not the only one who suggested that sales of the current edition were not good. The game has gone backwards ever since EA bought Codemasters.

"stagnated development" is EA's standard business model not only for F1, but for other sports games (Madden, NHL, etc.) EA basically sells annual editions that are glorified roster updates. The game turns out to be the same year after year, no matter what reviewers write.

It has 300% more monthly reviews then LMU or rF2 or AMS 2

This is what's wrong with Simming :x3:
