The long-rumoured news that Forza Horizon 5 is making its way to the PlayStation 5 has finally materialised with the open world racing game hitting the Sony platform this Spring.
For years now, the idea that the Forza Horizon series could make its way to PlayStation 5 has gone from a thought to a dream and then rumours. But now, we can say that the series' latest entrant, Forza Horizon 5 is coming to the Sony console, now covering all three major platforms.
The PS5 version is said to be in development by Panic Button, a team best known for AAA ports to the Nintendo Switch as well as the console version of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Though the team was also involved in the Xbox variant of the previous Forza Horizon title.
Much like the current versions of the game, the PS5 edition will support cross-play with all existing platforms meaning every Forza Horizon 5 player has the chance to meet up somewhere in the streets of Mexico. In addition, existing DLC such as the multitude of car packs and larger Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure expansions will be available for purchase.
Whilst there is currently no date, nor price attached to the game's PS5 release, it is available to wishlist on the PlayStation Store.
